The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business storage solutions including client and enterprise SSDs in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data. Transition is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.

Join the team for enabling, maintenance, and support of the test content for server platforms. We are looking for an Python Developer (Intern) with interest in quality assurance and testing automation to work closely with Intel drivers design teams and be responsible for all test content development utilized for the Compatibility Validation stages of the program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reading requirements and provide feedback on how the features will be tested.
  • Hands-on hardware set up and maintenance.
  • Documenting the automation flows for the test cases.
  • Developing automated test cases in Python.
  • Collaborating with other teams to trouble shoot issues.
  • Debugging of issues reported by validation to find the root cause of the problems found in the test content.
  • Providing code fixes for defects found in automated test cases during the validation phase before the product to be out on the market.
  • Defect management for bugs assigned in order to properly document progress and solutions.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related STEM fields.
  • 1+ year of experience with Python programming.
  • 1+ year of experience with Object Oriented Programming.
  • 6+ months experience in Source Code Management (Git).
  • Advanced English level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

  • Basic concepts of Quality Assurance.
  • Basic experience in Unix based OSs.
  • Basic experience in Automation flows documentation.
  • Basic experience in Code debugging and troubleshooting.
  • 1+ year of experience in Software Engineering processes, principles, and product life cycles.
  • 6+ months of experience in HW Components.
